This is the prototype LNER Travelling Post Office. The construction is all brass, ball bearings, and includes letter racks, full working lights. It is offered with a choice of couplings.
The standard livery is grained teak, but according to information and photographs received these vehicles could be in Post Office Red with nets!! and an E running no., I guess this would be rare and early 1948. I do stand to be corrected, but I have a photo’ showing just this. Certainly looks interesting !!
