Video: Gauge 1 Art

Posted by Peter under Updates

Today I thought I’d share another of Bram Hengeveld’s wonderful videos with you. It is a little bit different as it’s not running footage but instead displays the real level of detail of the coaches – which is nice to see as I do like to think of them as being museum quality display pieces just as much as they are excellent runners!

If you have a video of any of my pieces then I’d love to see it. Please email me at enquiries@rogers-models.co.uk!

TPO in early BR livery

Posted by Peter under Updates

Today I’m pleased to share with you my Travelling Post Office in early British Rail livery which is, in my opinion, a very interesting choice of livery! Note that the letter delivery and collection apparatus would have been removed in the early 1950′s. Click the image to make it bigger and see the detail.

I hope that you like it – let me know your thoughts in the comments section!

New prototype – LNER TPO

Posted by Peter under Updates

This is the prototype LNER Travelling Post Office. The construction is all brass, ball bearings, and includes letter racks, full working lights. It is offered with a choice of couplings.

The standard livery is grained teak, but according to information and photographs received these vehicles could be in Post Office Red with nets!! and an E running no., I guess this would be rare and early 1948. I do stand to be corrected, but I have a photo’ showing just this. Certainly looks interesting !!
